Woman Have The Power Because They Have A p****..And Thats The Truth

2007-02-24 12:06:59 · answer #1 · answered by Anonymous · 1 0

In general terms is pretty much balance.

The economicaly wise men have the advantage. Women are progressing but still there are not a lot of female CEO's out there. There hasn't been a female president in the U.S. yet so that should tell you something.

Sex wise woman have the edge. It is females that choose who they'll sleep with.

There are some things that men are stereotipically better than woman and vice versa. In the general whole then no. Not much difference. Is more like a different approach to the same problem.

Men and women have unique forms of power. Heck, each individual has a unique strength, which is a sort of power. Since we live in a patriarchal culture, the male aspects of power are valued more, and in that sense, men are more powerful.

For example: women are able to process emotions alongside facts, while men are not able to do so. This is a strength for women. But because of patriarchy, this strength is seen as a weakness simply because women are not able to filter out emotions easily, like men.

Another example: women (generally) value relationships over personal status; they value the group over self. Again, this is a strength, since if all anybody ever cared about was ourselves, the world would kindof implode. But because men (generally) are more willing to sacrifice a member of the group in order to get ahead, they advance farther, thus giving men more power.

See what I'm sayin? :)

The power may be with the strongest. The strongest one may be physically strongest or intellectually strongest or economically strongest or some combination of these. The strongest one may be strongest all the time or just sometimes.

In many (conservative) communities it may be traditionally decided who formally traditionally is the strongest - and we may know that it is man who is the strongest, that it is men who are the strongest, and that the community is ... patriarchal.

Even in a bluntly patriarchal community a woman may have the real, even if informal, power by using her own qualities as huge assets, as her instruments of power, her own power above a man or even above men and women in the community.

Women have the power but man uses the women's power to their advantage. That's only in some cases though, it depends on the person's lifestory.

No body has the power, you are in a relationship, you both come together to make 1, not 2 seperate "powers"
