Funny you should ask this question. First and foremost as a young man I wanted to live forever. Thinking I could move mountains, swim rivers and carry the weight of the world on my shoulders. Now fast forward to 50 years old and a few bad car and motorcycle accidents then you have a broken body and troubled mind... Now with a newer appreciation of my own short lived mortality. I will be happy to see 70. Anything beyond that is futile.

First of all, you are still very young and you have plenty of time to acheive your goals and dreams. Never give up on the life you want to live. Only you can make the changes in your life to get you on track. I understand living with physical and mental disabilities...I have both and am 33 yrs old and disabled. I, too wish my life was different, however, I focus on the things I DO have and am thankful for my wife, family and friends. Stay focused on your goals and work towards them. Anything is possible if you want it bad enough and work hard enough for it. Good Luck!

I deal with life on a day to day basis. I know that I must think positive thoughts. I am a Christian so, I rely on My Lord and Savior Jesus to teach me that I am well, of sound mind, and healthy.

Philippians 4:4-9.

Rejoice in the Lord always, I will say it again: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable_if anything is excellent or praiseworthy_think about such things. Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me_put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you.

Paul
