i bought a computer in a yard sale and when i connected it in my house it asked me for the password which i dont know....how do i enter windows without wriing the password....also when i turned it on it said the windows that it had was counterfited and fake...how do i fix that?

The password is there for a reason, to make it impossible to open windows without it. Unless you are Microsoft, your screwed. You need to reformat the hard drive and load windows from scratch.

Yikes thats a problem that i have had myself it depends on the type of windows it is running but most likley you will have to completely restore the PC if you dont have a restore disk then contact the company that the PC is made by and they can send you 1 im not sure how much they change but if you get the disk you will be able to fix the computer with ease

When you go to shut down the computer then where it says password you go where it says make a password.

As of right now before, My computer did that...... don't know how my system was counterfeited. but just ask someone to reset all data in the computer. :)

One would assume you need to go and purchase a real copy. This would solve both problems.

did you try pushing enter w/o typing anyting??? and there is no way that you can take that screen off.
