there's a group of 4 of us one is 17 and the rest are 15, can we see a rated are movie?

It really depends on where you live. Where I live I have heard of tons of people who have been "carded" meaning they were not allowed in because they were underage. You would have to test your luck at your theatre, it they are really easy about things you will probably be able to get by but if they are very strict and enforce the rules chances are you won't. You could go to the window say the movie you want pretend that you're 17 (for the 15 year olds) and if they ask you for id tell them you are 17 but have chosen not to get your license yet so you have no id on you. You may be able to get in then but I would have a back up plan for a pg 13 movie. Good Luck!

It said at my theater "People 17 and older can take kids to see a R rated movie or a parent or garduin". Or something like that. You should still call your theater and ask.

in jax, fl the age limit to see a R movie is 17, so yes. in some places it might be 18 or 21

Give the 17 year old the money to buy the tickets and then go in.

well you guys shouldn't wacht a rated r movie but I watched one before and im also the same age as you guys so who cares if you watch it or not just dont get caught

Depends on the theater. Technically NO, but if the theater doesn't pay attention you will be fine.
