Self-defense is the only situation where it is acceptable. But the same exact thing goes for a man, in my opinion.
And if a pregnant woman just so happens to be a homicidal maniac I say go right ahead and defend yourself.

I do marital arts and we often get paire dagainst each other. It's a difficult thing to get over that natural reflex of not hitting a girl, but it's only practice and it's important you don't hold back so they can prepare for a much uglier fight. And trust me they give as good as they get and ask you to hit them! We all get on though.
In the real world, you walk away.

There are an infinite number of scenarios where hitting a woman is acceptable but they all involve a scene where your life is being threatened or someone else's life is being threatened. But this applies to men as well.

I dated a girl who liked it rough. I would never hit a woman but when it turns them on who am I to argue with that. So I smacked her around a bit during sex. I felt guilty but she assured me that she really liked it. So I guess that would be acceptable.
Oh and smacked around doesn't mean closed fist or anything like that.

Only where there is real danger of her harming someone. More of a self-defense kind of thing. Women and not objects to take out your frustrations. Never hit a lady!

Yes, I was watching Judge Judy (so what) and a girl hit a guy with a bat and he hit her and he won the case.

Yes; if you are trying to save a drowning , hysterical woman. Hit her, she looses consciousness, you can then swim with her to safety. If not, she may cause both of you to drown.
And this has nothing to do with one's sexual orientation!!

If you are defending yourself...and she is whooping your A$S then I believe you should be able to hit her back....Im not saying its right to hit a female ...however some need to be put in there place....
