It has been said that 8 glasses of water is needed per day. But how much do we actually drink? I think i drink hardly about 1 glass of water.

It doesn't have to be water. A lot of drinks have water in them and we don't even realize it (e.g. kool-aid is like 99% water). I drink a lot more water in the Summer time than Winter.

I drink at least 4 or 5 16 oz glasses of water a day and probably 2-3 cups of tea . So somewhere around 90 -100 oz of liquid a day.

I am diabetic and water is much better for me than pop or other liquids. Oh when I can I also drink milk a couple of glasses per day.

Not drinking enough water can cause you many health problems, dehydration can cause your kidneys to fail, can cause heart attacks, your skin to dry out , just to name a few.

You really need to drink those 8-10 glasses of water a day to stay healthy.

I drink about 6-8 glasses a day. No one should go over 10 glasses in a day because for a woman you can get a bladder infection, I know because I got one from drinking close to a gallon a day.

I never drink plain water. I drink a lot of apple cider, vitamin water and sometimes fruit water. I will mix seltzer water with fruit juice. I'll also drink Gatorade. I am drinking some liquid all day long but it's never just plain old water. So, who knows if any of that counts. I know I go through at least 2 liters of liquid a day though (not counting soda or coffee)

I drink vitamin water-18 oz and soy milk and at least one decent size gatorade or water a day- thats about 32 to 40 oz. My doc says 60 oz but thats sometimes hard-because as a girl you go all day.
