On tv shows why are they not wearing slips anymore?

I have been noticing that women aren't wearing slips under their dresses or skirts. You can see right thru the clothes and see their underwear. Or in some cases no underwear just pantyhose. I have seen this alot on All My Children and some night shows. I am not a prune but this is not what I want to see when I watch tv. Do you?

More sex appeal, probably. And its true, skirts are a bit shorter than they used to be.

Plus, I think women in general don't wear slips as much as they used to. I know I rarely wear them.

The skirts are so short, I don't think a slip would work! All they need is a camisole, if that!
