I truely believe that if the NBA got rid of David Stern, they could actually restore the richness of the game that it lacks so much. I love the game so I still follow the Association, but I completely understand why people dont watch anymore. Damn shame...

I can't stand the guy. He has these old-fashioned beliefs that just don't work for the modern NBA. The dress code was to separate the hip hop culture from the league, but a large majority of the players and fans ARE PART OF THE HIP HOP CULTURE! He is also too controlling of on-court matters especially when it comes to ref rulings. The refs have too much power and the stupid little ideas he constantly comes up with are absurd. Players can no longer tear off their warmups? Can't argue a call? Can't celebrate a play with their teammates? Gimme a break.

David Stern is OK by me. It's not him, it's the players that don't love and enjoy the game that makes it lack the 'richness' as you say. Some, and I only mean SOME, strictly play for the money. Those are the ones always in trouble, never improving their games, late or missing practice. That and free agency almost force players to look it as business, because they can get traded in a second, and can't do anything about it, even if they like where they are. But, most play for love. I still Love the NBA.

I don't completely hate Davis Stern. He has contributed to the NBA for for several decades. I just hope he will stop trying so hard to make a difference.

David Stern is a mastermind of a gm. I mean with out him the nba would be worse than the nhl.
