Like everytime I start playing a song it says 'error'.How do I fix it?

Take it to a shop and get it fixed.
If it is an iPod, take it to the Apple Store and get it fixed.

None of us would know girl! You didnt give us a brand to your player. Try going to the manufactures webpage to find out how to reset your player and download new firmware that might be updated.
If you purchased your player recently, you might be able to return it to the store or to the manufacture for a brand new one.

try turning it off and turning it back on again. that should help but if it doesn't, try calling the helpline for their company.
