Will 2 male dwarf gourami fight or are they ok to live together?

Sure, no problem at all. Remember though that common plecos do get really big (like 2 feet long) and will eventually eat the other fish if given the chance, but as long as the pleco isnt too big they will be fine together.

Well I have a Dwarf Gourami in with my Guppy's and they all live peacefully. I used to have 2 but my male died of something. One minute he was fine the next keeled over dead. The female was nearby quite aggitated so she may have caused it or been stressed by his passing.

Anyway to keep 2 male dwarf gourami's together you would need a decent size tank. About 20 gallons each for their own territory. They fight over territory. So in a smaller tank the most dominant male will win and most likely kill the other one who can't escape.
A single dwarf male is ok alone. He'll pal around with the other fish. He will also do duty as fry control if you have female guppies. But with enough plants and places to hide there will be fry surviving. Oh and no need for a big tank with only one. He'll do just fine in a 10 gallon with a trio (2 females,1 male) of guppy's and small pleco or cory's.

As for the Pleco there are small ones but they are harder to find available than the large common ones. If possible take the Pleco back and get a small school of cory's (corydoras catfish) and a snail for algae control. Or a handful of ghost shrimp. They're cool little beggers.

Plecos will get large. But I do believe that there is a breed of pleco that stay small. All your fish should have no problem living stress free even in a 10 gallon habitat.

Gouramis can sometimes get pushy if annoyed, but they aren't usually a problem unless you get the dominant one in the school. The pleco might eat the baby guppies if any of yours decide to mate, the pleco may also eat the adult guppies if it gets big enough.

I dont know about the gouramis and the guppies, but there are some plecos that stay small, 4-6', the only problem is they either are meat only eater, like the zebra plecos, or need driftwoood to survive.

Since nobody answered this question, no. There are not a certain kind of pleco that will stay small. It takes them a long time to get big though. If you get one, once it gets too big sell it to a pet store and get another small one.
