I'll be reading an article, and at the bottom of page 76, it will read,
"continued on page 78". To even FIND page 78, you have to go through 7 pages of un-numbered advertizing pages.
Drives me nuts. Why can't they number the ad pages too?

Seems to be a problem in the layout dept. Also, last minute ads might be part of the problem.
It costs a pretty penny to produce a magazine or any other periodical for that matter, if someone is offering me 10,000 to run an ad and they miss my deadline, I'm going to try with all my might to squeeze their ad in. Sometimes I may lose a little pagination in the process. Stuff happens!
Next time that happens, send two letters to the magazne. Send the first as a letter to the editor, send the second to the publisher.
If you make some 'noise', perhaps you'll be heard as the squeaky wheel gets the grease.
And to answer your question, yes it is a little annoying.

Lol, same here, its like that for almost every issue of Allure I've bought. The worst thing is sometimes they'll be squeezed into a little box at the side and I'll have no idea that's the place where I'm suppose to continue reading. It's kind of like reading those books with all sort of different endings. Lol

Yes! Any magazine that isn't numbered correctly is quite annoying indeed.

I really do get annoyed. Cause I be thinkin can I count?? and I know Im not crazy!! They need to cut that out like for real!!
