Yes. One person went so far as to say I eat dog... since I'm part Asian. People are mean and stupid. I've also been discriminated against due to my age, as I'm the youngest in my department.

Yeah, I used to work at a Country Club and once while I was in a supply room I overheard my boss telling one of my Co workers that I would never get a promotion because I was black. I wrote a letter about him. He was a white guy who made racist remarks about everyone. He hated Jewish people, hispanics, asians, indians, etc. I compiled a file of all the racist things I ever heard him say and sent it to the General Manager of the club. It ended up being a big thing and he was forced to resign. I had a goodbye party for him, needless to say he didn't attend...heeheehee!!

All the time! As an Italian American I get mafia jokes thrown at me all the time. That Sopranos show is SO freaking racist. It has ruined my life. That show should be taken off TV for racism! Anyway, people at work are always making fun of my ethinic background and it has hurt me career greatly.

It happened to me on a job interview. The interviewer thought that my Swedish wasn't good enough. I told him to kiss my f*cking brown butt and walked away.
A month later, I got employed somewhere else and the employer thinks that I speak fluent Swedish.

I was discrimintated at work for being a military wife. My boss straight told me that he only hired me because he was in a jam and needed someone right away even though I was qualified for the job and had much experience. He said army wives either divorce their husbands and leave or get sent to a new post and leave so he hates hiring them and then tried to demote me when he found a man to take my job, I told him off and then he tried to promote me. I decided he was crazy and left as soon as I could.
