He will be extremely pissed off to say the least. My thought is that he will fire Brian Cashman. Cashman's track record has not be very good when it has come to pitching these past few years. If pitcher becomes the issue as to why the Yankees don't win, Brian will be out.

Read that King George of the Yankees is feeling under the weather lately. He is 76 years old, and it looks as if age has caught up to him. He's going to leave a lot of the decision making and personnel affairs to his front office, including Cashman. I saw Steinbrenner on TV a few weeks ago, and he looked like in no shape for fighting with anyone. Those days of King George vs. Billy Martin are long over for the guy.

Probably not, but he's gettin up there at 76. Pretty soon he will have to turn the team over to someone. But that won't matter, cause the Yanks r goin to win it all dis year.
Oh yea, Georgie Porgie, last time I checked, 2000 wuz in da 21st century. The Tigers haven't won a series in 22 years, so shut ur mouth.

No, but if the yanks don't win soon, it'll be the end of Joe Torre's reign as manager. As a Red Sox fan, there are only two Yankee employees that I respect. One is Torre, the other is Jeter.
As far as George goes, he doesn't run things as much as he used to...that duty has been given to his drunken son-in-law.
I would love to see the Yanks not make the playoffs. Just to hear Mike and the Mad Dog the day they are eliminated would be priceless.

He's been sayin that the Yankes will win the World Series every year since 2003. He hasn't been right any of those years. What makes us think he will be right this time around? In my oppinion, acquiring Johnny Damon from our Sox, was the curse for them. The Yankees won't win until 2091. Thank God, I'll be dead by then.

The yankees havent won a WS in the 21st century, which is why he is probably in such ill health now.
God forbid the yankees should ever NOT EVEN MAKE THE PLAYOFFS!!! (that would be the end of ther world as we know it!).

Steinbrenner doesn't even run the team any more. He's not going to die yet.

No. He'll probably just get rid of some of his overpriced players and keep going to his farm system(Wang, Cano, & Cabrera)
