It's a medical term, used in pathology, something about cell death but what is the exact meaning. The only text I could find was in Spanish...

I think you might have spelled the word wrong... I searched it in dictionary.com and it listed other words similar to it. I clicked on the word pycnosis, and got this definition:

i.e., picnosis of the nuclei="leopard skin". Search in google for "picnosis", and click on the top listing, which asks if you want only english definition.
