Last year they seemed to be solid as can be. This year they dont seem as good of a team, but find ways to win. Are they better?

Not really better, but they play more as one unit. Coach Avery Johnson did a good job keeping this team together when most teams would have made huge trades in the offseason. Besides Devean George and Greg Buckner it's still the same team.

They are passing the ball alot better. Nowitzki no longer has to carry the offense. He's got Josh Howard, Stackhouse, Jason Terry, and a very deep bench working together.

I would say they are a lock for Western Champs, but that's giving Mark Cuban too much credit.

Yes, they are a better team this year. For one, never underestimate the experience they gained from last year's finals. Also, they have improved defensively. They score the same 99 points per game that they scored last year, but only give up an average of 92 per game compared to the 94 per game they gave up last year. Plus, Devean George plays the bench role alot better than Marquis Daniels did. Marquis was good, but Devean can guard 4 positions. Quisey couldn't do that.

Yes,
They gained some expeience from the finals. They have been through the pressure and have grown as a team. I think they will win this year
