Many times at the end of the day we tend to weigh more than in the morning.
The best thing to do is weigh each day in the morning using the same scale, and wearing no clothes, after you've emptied your bladder.
This will give you a more accurate weight.

Did you sweat a lot through out the night? That may not account for the whole 7.5lbs though. I think your scale is inaccurate mine is always off by 5lbs for some reason. I know my shoes add 2 lbs and if I have a wallet it adds another .5lbs. So make sure you're weighing yourself the same way each time (i.e. without shoes, or without your coat on, naked, whatever)

If you ate 8lbs in food the night before and went to the bathroom before you weighed yourself that might explain it.
Or Aliens may have abducted you in the middle of the night and removed an eight pound tumor you didn't know about.

That happens to me too.
By the end of the day, your body contains many fluids and foods that you've accumulated over the course of the day. I'm not 100% sure about the accuracy of my reason, but that is definately normal. Weigh yourself again at the end of the day and you will weigh more.

Usually these quick losses and gains have to do with water. My guess is persperation and peeing (?)

Pee, poop, and sweat.
Or, your little brother is fooling with the scale adjustment just to mess with your head.
