Others are right the voyagers have been turned off, but on another important note.....the closest solar systems are far far away. Forget solar systems though lets just take the closest star. Its Proxima Centauri at 4 light years away! So even if they were still broadcasting it wouldn't reach anything for hundreds of years. Sad how big space is, isn't it ? :(

The Voyagers, if they are still intact, would take millions of years to reach a star in their trajectory. They are not aimed at stars close by. They are the fastest things man has ever launched. That's just how far apart the stars are.

I have some bad news for you. The voyagers have been turned off. They aren't sending anymore transmissions back to earth. Even if they do reach we won't know since we don't have contact with them

Apart the fact that they ane no more operative, the chances that they may reach in our lifetime another solar system are virtually zero.

Impossible. Traveling about 40,000 miles an hour, it would take us about 30,000 years to get to the next closest star, and that's not even outside our own solar system.
