Most likely you can get a job teaching. With a bachelors it would probably be at the high school level. You could probably also get a job with a corporation, although it would have nothing to do with sociology. Many companies will hire people with bachelor degrees into jobs which are unrelated to their field(the just want to know you are smart enough to do the job).

If none of that sounds interesting, then you could go for your doctorate(although it would most likely lead you to a job teaching at a university) or try to go to law school. Social science degrees are a good foundation for becoming a lawyer.

Depends on what state you live in, and what you want to do. There are government jobs listed in every state that use sociology majors like counselors and advisors. Try your local government in probations and court services. Also look at www.socialservicesjobs.com or look at careerbuilder and single out the field of social services

Chances are you may not work in the field of Sociology. Most employers, including myself, look for candidates with a BA. The thing that come to mind is go to grad school and further your education. Academic research, teacher, and law enforcement are all options.

Maybe you could check mental health agencies in your area for caseworker positions. Also child protective services or anywhere that social workers are needed could benefit from your background in Sociology. Good luck.
