I am going to a wedding tonite, and I am wearing a black v neck dress to the knee. THe dress comes with a satin black belt, but I was thinking of replacing that belt with a red patent leather one and wearing red peeptoe patent leather shoes. What jewelry would you wear? I don't want to wear too much red.

I would add the white/off white pearls. I would also consider just red leather on the belt and shoes. Sometimes the patent tends to look cheap and does not wear very well/very long.

Since the color red is really bold, don't distract with the jewelry. A simple necklace should do. Don't wear any big chunky red necklace, just because it matches. It will give people too much to look at.

Silver or white gold would probably look best with the black, red combination. Since your dress is knee length and simple, keep the jewelry simple.

I would defenetly wear diamonds if you have them! If not, and you cant afford real ones then get crystal or rhinestone jewelry. I wouldn't wear more red jewelry , it would match, but you should mix it up a bit and go with diamonds. If it were me I'd wear a big, diamond necklace, dangling earrings that are diamonds of course, and maybe a diamond bracelet.

I'd say no more red for jewellery. That would be too overbearing.
It would be cute to wear some really pretty chandeleir earrings and some cute bangles OR a cute cocktail ring.

Hope i helpdd.

Have funn at the wedding!

:)

i could additionally do the silver shoes. They embellishment on the gown fits the beautiful jewels on the heels. The bangle could quite tie all of it at the same time. i admire your gown via the way. My promenade is in 2 weeks so i'm searching for the appropriate outfit too!

Red necklace and earring won't make it too much red, but if you think so silver jewelry would look good also. Esp. silver bangels
