No, money can't buy a soul that's not for sale, nor can it buy integrity, and intangibles like true love. Money is not required to live -- just ask a homeless person who is homeless by choice -- in otherwords, ask a bum.

The love of money is the root of all evil. So, if you love money more than anything else, then you would assume that money can buy anything. However, money can't really buy happiness. Look at all the rich dead, divorced, or drug addicts.

I could live on the street without a dime and do quite well because I know how to survive. You'd be surprised how much you can accomplish with will and effort and no money.

Hi!

It isn't money that is the problem, it's us. Some people who are good at making money are actually descent folk who do care about the world. Three cheers to them! However a lot of people are not. Boooo!

What I object to most is how we are manipulated and our health jeopardized because of the marketing machines going full tilt in the world today! It is odd how the FDA, food and drug partnership continues on. Dryers mixed with moisturizers in cosmetics all kinds of crazy stuff that defeats the advertised purpose of the product. Yes we need jobs! But for Gods sake don't these people have a conscience?

Having a decent income can relieve a lot of stress if you manage it carefully. No amount of money makes you a better or lesser person though! Nore does it make you happy! But it can in the right hands provide opportunities that can lead to greater happiness and health.

So it's us, it all depends on whose wielding the buck.

Obviously not EVERYTHING, but yes, absolutely, its the #1 thing in life to make you happy.
I dont know how old you are, but Im 30 and Ive lived poor, lived rich. Ive travelled the world, Ive lived in 4 different countries.
Money itself isnt happiness of course, but it makes life a lot easier and gets you all the material things you want.
Furthermore, no matter how idealistic you want to be, or people think they are, people who are powerful(well off) are treated better by others-in ALL areas of life.
Its human nature to treat the more powerful better. Even in areas where you hope that people are idealistic, money is the key: Like I said, Ive been poor, rich, and lived in different places-Go to a private prestigious doctor and you will see the difference from when you go as a poor person.
Even doctors, who are supposed to be the most idealistic of professionals, will treat you differently: treated as a human being Vs. treated as an object, like a car that needs to be wahsed quickly to make room for the next one.
If you are young, listen to me:
Do a career that will leave you well off. Its your best chance to be happy

All the Government is is the Mob. And their greatest crime of all is profiting from acts of war. And everybody is in on it . Defense Contractors manufactor weapons for use during war while supporting and financing those candidates who will go to war. And with war crippling to most economies, the nations must then borrow money and go into debt.

And all of that money goes right up to the top of the food chain--the banks, where it came from to begin with. Only now there is a difference. Now the money has an insane amount of interest attached to it--more than most nations can afford to pay off. Then the cycle just repeats itself over and over.

No one ever wonders where the national debt comes from. Who lends these countries the billions of dollars it takes to fund a national budget? Is it us? Is it the people? If thats true, then the Government owes us SEVEN TRILLION DOLLARS. Its not us. We didnt give them seven trillion dollars. THERE ARE ONLY 250 BILLION FEDERAL RESERVE NOTES IN CIRCULATION!! Where the **** does all of this money come from? From BANKS. From PRIVATE, MULTINATIONAL institutions that conserve immense power behind the scenes. The kind of clout gained from having every person, state province and nation in debt to you. By CONTROLLING ALL OF THE MONEY IN THE WORLD, YOU CAN CONTROL ALL PEOPLE OF THE WORLD. And the more war there is, the more money there is.

Boeing, Raytheon, Lockheed-Martin, the SAIC, Carlyle Group. The list goes on. EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THESE COMPANIES MAKES THEIR MONEY OF THE MISERY OF OTHERS, and to them its just 'business as usual.' These companies even arm our enemies before we fight them. They can even control people with the threat of war. And when the tragedy strikes, when the nation is in mouring, when we are at our most vulnerable state, what do they tell us to do? SHOP.

They tell us to spend money. Trying to make a quick buck off of grieving people. Thants not capitalism. Thats not consumerism, its not even corporatism. You know what it is? IT IS CORPORATE FUNDAMENTALISM. ALL THESE PEOPLE KNOW HOW TO DO IS BRING EVERYTHING TO MARKET. The banks, the corporations, the government? The elite. They use poverty to marginalize the rest of the world. The upper one percent.

When they tell us there are minorities--blacks, asians, latinos--the only minority that counts is the upper one percent. THE REST OF US ARE JUST SLAVES. Slaves to the dollar, slaves to the elite, slaves to their dogma. And dogma is so powerful that as soon as you begin to belive it, you become afraid of its opposite. Its divide and conquer. DIVIDE and CONQUER.

It may not be able to buy everything but it sure don't hurt to have a whole, big bunch of money to try to live and love with money.

Of course we NEED money for our basic living needs. But, trust me,if you have a conscience, and truly want happiness in your life, all the money in the world cannot give you true bliss.
