Luminia sat up, lank hair fanning behind her, and calmly stated "Systems down. Termination in 25 seconds," the sentence which, ultimately, united the world.
(That was one of the crappier sentnces from a book I'm writing, called Luminia. I've made better.)

Hi! Forgive me that this will be inexact but I must include it out of enthusiasm. In a scene from Shakespeare's "The Merchant of Venice," Shylock and his lady friend, Jessica are outdoors at night. He says to her (something like): "Look, Jessica, how the floor of heaven is patined with stars of bright gold!"

We would have had to walk the same path, seen the same sun rise and tasted the same joy love had to offer us in that moment of life together. to have looked upon the same flower in bloom and free of wrinkle from a sad touch.
