He knew the guy would get no treatment if sentenced and he wanted him in treatment. It's unfortunate that anyone is misguided enough to think child molesters can be treated because I don't think that has EVER worked. He was hamstrung by the law saying while in prison they can't get treatment but the state will give treatment if he's not in prison. Screwed up for sure!! No treatment or prison sentence will ever make up for the way he messed with those childrens' brains and futures short of life with no parole.

How many of you read the transcript? That's the problem with this country-everyone forms an opinion before they have the facts! Just look at the racism-point and case! Everyone of a different skin color is a criminal suspect, drug dealer, whatever! Our government even "profiles" them!

Maybe the Judge is a former ACLU attorney. That's the most likely explanation. They will do anything to protect child molesters.

these judges should be dis-barred!!!!!!! A judge like this is giving a molester the freedom to continue. Perhaps the judge should realize his or her child or grandchildren could very well be the next victim.Child molesters are not human,and should be locked away...once a child molester,always a molester!!!!!!!!!!
