The person scored 510 in verbal and 410 in math section of the old SAT. This person was accepted to UC Berkeley! Maybe there is some special cases?

Exceptions can and will be made for someone with adhd so that could be a reason for the acceptance in spite of the SAT scores . I believe that is a law because it's considered a disability but I'm not altogether certain but the admissions department could answer that question .

Maybe the person did a lot of other stuffs that impressed the people there. Like a personal project, extracurricular activities, or really good at sports. It really depends.

Possibly there are some special cases, and possibly this is just a folk tale and never really happened.
