Hello I am a travel agent so hope I can help I have done all over Egypt and really enjoyed the people the culture and how diverse it is.
So re the nile Thomas Cook have been doing trips down the Nile for over 100 yrs that what he was famous for so they are always a safe bet tcs Egypt brochure ask in store or try for ultimate luxury Cox and Kings You can also tailor make your holiday ie 2/3 nights in Cairo then cruise then add on Red Sea I have been Sharm and Hurgarda and surrounding area found Hurgarda big and grubby looking -El gouna is pretty manmade harbour and great like sharm for dive however Taba Heights has some good coral and fab fish to see!
The tour guide on most good standard cruises re very knowledgeable and ave a very good understanding of their and history very helpful and informative. Further excursion can be bought prior or once in resort, Hope this is helpful Bon Voyage!

I Went to Cairo for 2 days, a Nile cruise for a week and then 2 days at Luxor. Some people on our boat then went on the Red Sea.
We got to see the Pyramids, Cairo Museum (with King Tuts amazing mask), Abu Simbal (Stunning - even at 7am!), Luxor temples and the Valley of the Kings (and Queens).
There wasn't many tourist sights left to see once we were finished, and we were ready for a holiday at the end of it. We booked with Kuoni but our travel agent didn't explain things very clearly to us. If we'd known then we'd have extended our stay to have a week at the Red Sea as well as everything else. From there you can take a day excursion to Petra in Jordan!
Our holiday cost us £1200 each. We couldn't spend our cash when we got there because everything is soooooo cheap!
If I'm being honest I'd suggest skipping the Nile Cruise. Go to Cairo and do the Museum and the Pyramids, then go to Luxor and do the temples and the Valley of the Kings, and from there go to the Red Sea.
The cruise is OK, but boring compared to whats at Cairo and Luxor!
Everything about Egypt is simply fantastic! I'd go back in a shot. Be prepared for some extreme heat. We never saw a cloud in the sky for 2 whole weeks! It was brilliant!

On the Red Sea I would advise Dahab close to Sharm but not nearly as expensive. And it's really improved over the last few years, 4/5 star rooms are dirt cheap, and somtimes includes a meal and scuba facilities. Try the Camel dive centre it's great

i have done the nile criuise twice once with kuoni on the sun ray it was a lovely boat, and then with cosmos which was a last minute thing and on a boat they no longer use but it was equally good and half the price. the boats seem to change so often it is difficult to suggest one. but do go for a high star boat as some are not so good. the boats all do more or less the same routine so you will be offered the same tour whichever boat you go on. luxor then esna lock, edfu temple, kom ombu, aswan, option to go to abu simple (go) and back to luxor. its very busy but wonderful. i am afraid i have only been to sharm which is far from quiet but the hotels there are very good we stayed in the hyatt regency and it was very nice, an upgrade to their club house gives you a very good level of privacy, they have their own house reef and you still have the option of visiting naarma bay if you want., would reccomend it . the hotel is on the outskirts of naarma bay.

a week on the cruise is to long from Luxor to Aswan is a 2 day trip the rest of it you are paying to sleep on the boat unless you go to Dendera another day, on the way from Luxor to Aswan you get to see the Temples in Isna Edfu and Comombo we did the all inclusive with myegypt 1500 $ each for 13 day trip including the 5***** cruiser I think they do the luxor erea and the Dahab trip for the same price. we did Cairo the Oasis and Luxor area
as another person said e-mail them, we did our booking in 12 hours and had no regrets, had a fantastic time saw every thing
they mentioned in thier itinery, Last time I looked on there web site they also included the balloon trip over the valley of the kings.what more will you need.Noticed the button on the bottom here and just bee in there site, yes they do the balloon.best of luck and I know you will enjoy Egypt a lovely place to go.

With that level of Budget you should have no problem finding a company that will do it. BUT be warned the Egyptians are very willing to separate tourists and their money, and as much as they can get out of you. The way of life in Egypt is to haggle, which means offer half or less of whatever price is first quoted if you do not want to be ripped off.

i went to sharm-el-sheik last year to learn to scuba dive, diving was so great i came home with my advanced. i stayed in the camel dive club in nanm bay, was fantastic. I'm very well travelled but sharm is the best place I've been by far. there is lots of shops, restaurants/bars for the evening, and the diving is amazing, even snorkeling on the beach is great. there is also lots to do on dry land aswell, i went camel riding and had dinner with locals in the middle of the dessert!
if you go to sharm you'll have a great time people go there from all over the world for its first class diving,
the hammerhead sharks arrive there in September.
