Teenager make up problems!?

Teenage make up questions...?
Ok here's me:
Tan complexion, hazel eyes, hardly any acne but enough that i wear cover up, round face, dirty blonde hair to the bottom of my neck. How much make up is too much? I'm 13. Please can you leave makeup tips? What colors? How should I apply it? What should I wear? Help!!!! Please dont make me look like too old tho!

Ok I'm 14 and have similar things to you - the blonde hair, brownish eyes, same skin probs. I think that a little make-up everyday is nice for our ages and then special occasions you can get away with more. I'd say a little (e.g. to wear at school) would be cover up (concealer and foundation-for the 'bad days')eyeshadow, lip gloss, blusher (natural looking colour though) and a small amout of mascara. Never wear a lot of eye make up with a lot of lip make up as this is trying to enhance too many things and you will end up looking like a clown (trust me, I know!)

As for colours, you should aim to make your eyeshadow compliment your eye colour. There's a link here that will help you decide which shades:

Lip wear should not stand out too much from your natural lip colour, and you should only go either a few shades lighter or darker.

Light is probably the best way to go. Otherwise you'll end up looking like you're wearing a mask.(creepy!) I would suggest putting on a light layer of cover-up with then a little bit of powder after. For your eyes, maybe a sparkly grayish-blue or a pastel colored eyeshadow with a little bit of mascara that closely matches the color of your eyelashes.(in other words, if you have light colored lashes,black wouldn't be the best color for you.) And for blush, probably a rosy pink, but don't use so much that you end up looking like a clown :)

I have dirty blonde hair as well and i think that a white or a brown ey shadow looks best for blondes and dirty blondes. Your 13 dont wear a whole lot of eye liner or you'll look goth! also eye shadow and mascara. dont wear more than that!

for your acne use proactiv it is the best
for your hair crimp it
okay when your face is a different color than your nack tht is way to much make
im 13 too

lip gloss-a girls best friend and if not a lot of people are wearing chapstick to make their lips smooth but at the same time it looks great
mascara to give your eyes that extra little touch
eyeliner but not too much that you look gothic
eyeshadow but pick light colors like pink and badge
and some blush

you should go with cover girl brands. It won't clog your pores, and the colors are more neutral, so it'd be go for ur age. Just don't over do the mascara or eye liner, thats when young girls start to look older.

yea probably just lipgloss and mascara, and try not to use to much eyeshadow it usually ends up looking skanky....and w/e you do, do not try to impress a boy w/ur makeup...theyre to stupid to notice anyhow
