if the producer has not gotten permission, to use the symbol,,, then they cant,,,,, often it requires money to exchange, whether the items owner,s pay for advertising, or the producer pays for use,,, etc

Probably b/c that would be considered "advertisement" and the company didn't sign over the rights or whatever, or b/c the label does not want to be associated with the movie.

One reason is that the film or tv show makers don't want to advertise a product for free. Another is that the shirt might be offensive.

The blurred out stuff may be inappropriate for the audience liek curse words or gang signs.

Royalties! I went to a taping of Deal or No Deal a shirt that had my companies logo on it. They put a piece of black tape over the logo and explained to me that if royalties aren't paid it could not be shown.

Everything is about the dollar!

i think its so a certain company that they are using aren't gettting free advertisement because some companies pay movie directors to put their item or service in the movie to advertise it like if an actor is drinking coca-cola, the movie would be advertising the coca-cola drink in the movie

advertising the company might not be aware that the sign or ad is in the show...they do not want to promote brands on tv

maybe so it doesnt look like they are promoting something.
on mythbusters they blurr out chemical names so people dont make the explosive or what not.
and i would sya they blur name brands so people dont think they are promoting anything cause i guess it might pi$$ some people or other name brands off.

They either contain obscenities or the manufacturer of the product did not pay to have their product shown, which would be free advertising.
