Conservatives believe in preserving the values and morals that this country was founded on. Keeping the Family together and contributing positively to their country. I don't believe that a true conservative backs feminism, due to the reason that takes the women out of the home and in to the work force. Now interracial marriage doesn't effect you as a conservative, you can have the same values and believe this o.k., although yes some of your radical racist groups are known to share the same values as a conservative ,that doesn't mean they are all Racist. Conservatives believe in Capitalism, that means free market. We have the right to buy from where we want. And there are plenty of Conservatives who don't Back Bush, but I am a conservative and I do. Another Conservative belief is God, religion is usually an important part of most conservatives lives, and helps provide a solid base for families to start from. I hope this helps some.

As a republican, I do not care about abortion because it is out of my control. What a woman does is not my business. Why would we want a woman to have a chid that she will hate? I am against socialism of any kind but feel that health care must be available and tax deductible. I am for no welfare or food stamps of any kind or free housing. The retarded and disabled excepted. I am against monopolies by corporations and feel we must have diverse ownership. For instance right now about two companies own all the radio stations this is wrong. Marijuana should be legalized and cigarettes outlawed. Gay marriage no but give them the same rights as far as ownership contracts etc. just do not call it marriage. Why change the definition of something that has been called that for hundreds of years. That would be like requiring us to call an apple an orange. Close the borders and a strong military.

Conservatives believe in all the things that make this
Country great. Liberals believe in all the things that will
sink us into the gutter in the future.

Cons: Pro-LIfe, Traditional Family Marriage, Lower Taxes,
Less Government, Balance the Budget, Christmas and
Other Christian Holidays, Immigrants Using Methods set
down to become legal, War if needed, Integrilty, dignity,
character, patriotic, anti-pornography, against illegal drugs,
family radio and tv shows, all the traditions passed down
through the years (not slavery), etc. etc. etc.

Libs: Against everything the Cons are for.

I voted for GW Bush and this is what I believe and not what I see as ideal...

Gay marriage... ok
interracial relationship, marriage... ok
men and women should share an equal work place
taxes should work to relieve people who don't have as much wealth
Schools need more $$
Better helathcare and affordable healthcare
Insurance is the largest form of fraud known to mankind!!
The economy will prosper under an equal amount of capitalism and socialism

As a nation of people who need instant information, our family structure and values have rapidly declined and changed

Lack of work ethic in younger generations

And to recap on my voting, GW seemed like less of two evils when I cast my Ballot... John Kerry seemed like more of a pompous, self interest than President Bush.

The historic real conservitive belived (not many around anymore it seems from electoral results)

1 A federal government with strictly limited powers in regards to
a Interferance in the "Life and Liberty" of citizens
b Taxation

2 Responsible Governmental Spending Policies that limited debt, and gave most responsiblity for the economy to the market

3 Limited Executive Power

One can see clearly that anyone who supports the present government is not a real conservitive, just a blowhard who hasn't any sence of history.

They don't nessesarily belive in Feminism, but they would fight for your right to belive in whatever you want as long as it doesn't affect them

Interracial Marrages would be clearly within the domain of the citizen, and gov should have nothing to say about it, same applies to gay marrage, not gov business

Capitalism yes, but strict limits on monopolies, and corperations as they are not real "citizens" but fictional entities created to facilitate business

Socialism definately not, socialism advocates for gov control of the economy, and many aspects of a citizens life.

Bush, well , real conservitives would just shake their heads in shame to be associated with such dishonesty.

They believe in being a servant to God and living as an example to those around them.
They believe in family values and morals.
They stand stead fast to what is good and right.
They believe in life and that it is sacred and not to be destroyed by the human hand.
They believe in respect for their leaders and their country.
They believe that the sanctity of marriage between a man and a woman is sacred and should not be perverted.
They believe in love, family, friends, peace, and respect.
The all mighty dollar is not as important to them as seeing their children grow to be loving, kind, and healthy in mind, body and soul.
They believe that they should do to others only what they would have done to themselves.
They believe that they are not to hate others but can hate the evils that some people do.
They believe in being law abiding and true to their nation.
They believe in getting down on their knees to pray for those who who's souls are lost.
They believe in loving those who hate them for who they are.

They believe in breaking Constitutions, taking from the poor giving to the rich, keeping troops in Iraq to be slaughtered, breaking Social Security, 2 day work weeks, keeping us so deep debt we'll never get out, and just believe in any way to take money that doesn't belong to them, they just believe in all the lies they can spread. Just to many to write down

True conservatives (of old) were very outspoken against slavery, racism, women's oppression. True conservatives were against governmental intrusion into citizen's lives,. They were against big deficits, and military intervention unless absolutely necessary.

Neo-conservatives are the opposite.
