Yes I have gotten it! I hate it so bad! I'll give you some tips on what to do!
1: Never itch it or it will spread!
2: Hot showers might temporarlily ease the pain but cause more spreading so have luke warm showers!
3: Get Tecnu at a pharmacy. It will clean out the oils and relieve itching.
4: Clean all the clothes you had on when you were infected or you'll get it again!
5: The expensive and doctor perscribed stuff doesn't work as well as tecnu, trust me! ;) Dont waste your money!
My final tip is dont sweat or else it will get agrivated and spread and it flat out sucks!

Yes, I did and it was terrible, the itching is intense. I put medicine on it, I believe calamine lotion was what I used. It was many years ago and I haven't had it since. So there may be other things out there that you can use.
You need to keep your hands off of it, wash any clothes in hot water that come in contact it as there are oils from the poison ivy that cling on to the clothes. If the oils from the poison ivy come in contact with your skin from the clothes you can expose your self to more of the poison ivy.
Keep the areas clean and dry and use medication on them. Keep your hands off the areas, even if they itch. You don't want to spread it to other parts of your body. It really is terribly uncomfortable.

I got it bad when I was a kid, I picked poison ivy leaves and they felt so soft. I gave some leaves to a friend and she thought they were soft, too. The only thing was we both got it all over and I got in so much trouble. I was not allowed to talk to her for a long time after that. I was about 5-6 years old. =)

Nope, not at all were given it.. became continually taught to stay remote from leaves of three. at the same time as i turned right into a Cub, I heard a rumor of how a guy were given Poison Ivy throughout his bum and transferred to his manhood. He became out interior the woods and had to poop. at the same time as he executed the useless, he reached and grabbed a hand finished leaves of three and wiped., some days later, he became itching and had a foul rash. He observed his wide-spread practitioner and became advised he had Poison Ivy down there. that is at the same time as the guy advised the final practitioner what got here about.

Being on the WEST coast, we have Poison Oak.
I used to get a slight rash in the 70's... Mom would put some Calimine on it and tell us not to touch.
Now I can walk thru Poison Oak without any reaction.
My Older brother is allergic, and needs to be rushed to the hospital anytime he gets it

i actually got it running around in the bushes at my aunt and uncles haunted halloween tractor ride and party. super fun but the poison ivy sucked. lol i used calamine lotion and wore a glove so i wouldnt infect everyone else. it wasnt ever allergic when i was a kid.

i dont get it my brother does and you do both. well he did itchy spreads it and it can leave scars and awful marks if you do scratch it, the doc will give you something to heal it and take the itch away.

Poison ivy doesn't really effect me at all.
