It's in all of us to be evil. That can't be blamed on something outside of us.

This question will alway be raised if people don't accept reality. Theists have not accepted Objective Reality, God springs forth from the primitive limbic system of your brain, the last remnants of your reptillion past. The area where our raw emotions reside, including the irrational belief systems.

The 'religious' experience is triggered by deep depression, starvation, near death, or other highly charged situations. The 'born-again' christian phenomena has a scientific basis....yes, your limbic system. Why has man evolved this mechanism you might ask? Simple...it was a survival mechanism of our cave man ancestors to cope with a hostile and unknown universe.

The cerebral cortex is a more recent development. Here is where our rational and logical thought processes take place. It is here that the atheists have found their basis in reality.

In reality, there is no sentient, omnipresent, omnipotent supernatural being, supernatural entity or force....therefore all the inequities, evil and misery of the world will always persist, some will have good things happen to them and some not, some will blame the invisible entity but objective reality wins all the time....no matter how hard some try to get that limbic brain of theirs to work...sorry

And why does bad things happen to good people all the time? When the tectonic plates crash into each other causing human calamity, they don't worry about Karma, good and bad, evil and riteousness. Life's paths are made up of randon circumstances, some predictable and some not. Most religious people will state that god has a 'bigger' plan for them and humans in general, that we can't know the 'big picture.' Most say there can't be good unless we know or experience the depths of evil.

Is it fair to have predation, disease, deformities, child rape, parasites and evil in the world? If the answer is yes, then with god(s) like that, who need them?

There is a lot of evil, but also a lot of good in this world. We tend to focus more on the evil then the good because evil is more spectacular.

Look around you and you will notice...small little things that are good. Human nature can lean one way or the other.

It depends on how we were raised, the culture we grew up in etc...our life experience etc...

Evolution is a myth... emotions, feelings, and morals are not the product of one species "evolving" into another. (Primordial slime didn't just wake up one day and grow a conscious along with legs.) The world is the way it is because of the nature of human beings. We are inherently sinful. We were not created this way by God. We corrupted our nature through disobedience to God's laws. And we continue to do so today... that's why we continue to see evil in the world despite thousands of years of technological advances.

The world is evil because of the nature of capitalist societies. Without capitalism or money in general, a lot of the horrible things which have happened in the course of history wouldn't have happened. Another factor is the overpopulation of the earth. There are too many people and we have to fight for land and resouces.

It has nothing to do with the bible, the bible is full of $h!t

Human nature has the capacity for BOTH good and evil. But if all you are seeing is the evil, you're missing all the good. There is definitely a lot of good going on here. You just have to focus on it. If everyone did that, the evil wouldn't have such an impact.

Definitely NOT Bibical prophecy! The world is not evil, it is totally neutral. People, on the other hand, have a moral sense. But evil, itself is relative. What may be good for one person may be real bad for another.

sure issues are going from undesirable to worse. usa seems to be greatest the international right into a melancholy. yet many human beings will vote a corrupt, inept president returned into place of work and pay no suggestions as usa collapses. and then we've your faith. Jehovah Witnesses who relish the liberty to worship yet refuse to combat for a rustic that enables their church to exist. we are certainly in not basic circumstances.

but what makes you think the world is evil? we've always had to deal with crime, war, poverty, and bigotry. i do believe however that a few of our wars have been started because of religion (namely Christianity), but i don't think that the prophecies set forth in the Bible have anything to do with our earth except for the people who believe the "end" is coming soon.

actually, to me, while there is yes evil in the world,,,,,, overall it is not,,,,,,,,, there is more goodness,,,,, kindness etc then evil,,,,,,,,,, think of all the helpers and helping organizations in the world,,,,,,, then you have those who just live their lives, not really helping others yet not harming them,,,,,, then finally you have the evil acts and evil ones,,,,,,,,, the last category is , while horrible and tragic,, smaller then the other two combined,,,,,,,,,, i think it has always been this way
