Aren't we all out for some attention. From piercings, tattoos, profanity, styles in clothing, hair and makeup, purses, accessories, the way we talk, eat, or don't eat. Why do we do these things? For attention! Do we get dressed up just to look at ourselves in the mirror and stay home alone? No!
Emo kids just have more imagination in their costumes then the rest of us. Embrace them and love them. Different can be cool too!
Just as long as I have something new to look at everyday, I am good.

Well, I'm a goth who doesn't dress like one. But I'm still a goth - just not the attention kind.
The emo kids are looking for attention. Go to youtube and type in 'emo' - see a LOT of videos don't you?
And the goth kids who dress up - They're expressing themselves in clichéd ways. Losers in my opinion. The actual amateurs.

I think they just want to be left alone but at the same time show who they are and have fun going it. They want to make themselves different from the rest which is good because do you really always want to fit in? I don't.
