Its a name for an author which is gonna be me but I dont want people knowing its me until later whenI become a better writer.

Depends on what you're trying to say.
Yokono Mizu means the side water or the water on the side
Yokono Mizuya means the water store on the side
The first one also sounds like a sumo wrestler.

I like Mizuya better because two syllable names just seem like nicknames or carry that sense of not being serious. Take for instance "Anna" "Nicole" "Paris" "Mayu" "Nana" etc. Just too short to be taken seriously.

By the way, I totally disagree that the first sounds masculine and the second sounds feminine. As a expert in linguistics, I would tend to think it is more the opposite.

Yokono Mizu rolls off the tounge better. If you changed Yokono to Yoko, then I like Yoko Mizuya.

First sounds more Masculine.
Second sounds more Feminine.
