Please help. I'm trying to find out why my brake lights and blinkers won't work.

--Check the fuses
--Check the bulbs
--Check that they have a good connection to ground. Look at the wires going to the blinkers and tail light. They each will have one wire that's the same color. That will be ground. Unplug the brake light ground, and touch that wire to ground (a bolt or any unpainted metal part of the frame). Then pull the brake lever.
--Check that you have power going to the brake light switches. Power goes to the key - to the fuse box - to a brake light switch - pull in the brake lever - the switch gets activated and sends that power to the brake light.
--Check that you have power going to the turn signal switch (handle bar switch). Open the switch and see what wire will connect to the L or R turn signal.
--If you have power going in, check that power comes out when the switch is turned L or R.
--The ignition switch (key) sends power to the fuse box then power to each component. If the ignition switch was bad, that could cause your problems.
--That's the way most bikes work. Without a wiring diagram, or seeing your scooter in person, that's all I can help with.
