Microloans. Anywhere, not just "poor" countries. There are people everywhere who could use a boost. You wouldn't have to jump through six gazillion hoops to get one of my loans, either. I'd put a cap on the amount to make it small enough that hucksters won't be attracted to them. You would have to declare your ultimate goal, and give a plan for how the loan would be applied to it, but it wouldn't be ridiculously complicated. You couldn't come back for another loan unless you'd shown that your first loan accomplished something positive. Spread the money out. That's what I'd do.

I would use it to build some sort of place for people to work.I don't know at this min. what it would be but the work would be something that will allow a person to have a job at what ever level they seek. Then they could make thier world a better place. I notice that people have said feed the hungry but they would only get to eat until the money ran out, Give the hungry a job and they will continue to eat and feed their loved ones.Would not that make a better world?

I would invest it and give it away gradually with most of it to the Gates foundation and some to other charities that I think does good work. I have know Idea how to spend billions of dollars and would get ripped off by scam artists if I tried to do it myself.

I would do something about the drug companies and their outrageous prices so that everyone could afford the prescriptions they needed. I would invest in research for a cure for Aids/Hiv. I would invest in Aids/Hiv education and prevention throughout the world. I would invest in not only feeding the hungry but also invest in providing the education and tools for countries to provide their own subsistence. I could go on and on but eventually the money would run out.

Tons and tons of charity, of course, but also...

Start a viable 3rd political party in the US and donate to the campaigns of politicians that I thought were really looking out for the folks.

I wouldn't. I would spend a little on me, then I would stack it up as high as I could get it.
