Why don't you just use itunes or windows media player?

Yes, and it's fairly easy to do. All you need is a phillips screwdriver.
When you buy a burner, you should get installation instructions and any required software. If not, go to the manufacturer's website for more info.
You might also try www.tigerdirect.com, select any CD burner and click on "More Info" then scroll down the page for a tutorial called " How to Install Optical Drives".

sure just install using the cable that is in the cpu where the burner should go one is for power (white small) other long wire is to plug into cpu.
