The two are mutually exclusive - they cannot both exist because for an object to be immovable, there cannot be an irresistible force and vice verse.

Or....

The force would act on the object in a way that doesn't include motion. When a fact moving object strikes another object, a lot of heat is generated. Perhaps the force would transfer into the object as heat - the immovable has neither resisted the force not moved.

Or....

Perhaps you could think of the immovable object and the irresistible force to be one in the same - an irresistible object (with sufficient mass) would, in theory, generate enough gravity to be an immovable force.

There are a few ideas to pick from if you like.

if the object is truly immovable, and the irresistible force will not break, then throw physics out the window. both objects will stop in place or either the irresistible force will bounce back and then towards until it stops against the immovable object.

I imagine there would be a loud "bonk!" as the irresistable force slams into the immovable object.
