The blood of Jesus cleanses us from our sins... if we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. So, yes! Evil is removed from the world one person at a time as each one receives Jesus as their Savior.

No I think this is an old roman catholic idea that never really made any sense.
The teachings of Jesus could take the evil out of the world if people would actually follow what he said.
The idea of blood sacrifices is an old Mithran Idea that Paul borrowed to get converts while he was hiding out in tarsus after the apostles ran him out of Jerusalem. The mithrans believed that blood sacrifices had cleansing properties so Paul told them that God had sacrificed his son Jesus to atone for their sins. It worked like a charm and he got lots of converts. The church noticed how well this idea worked and Incorporated it into the roman catholic dogma. It has remained there ever since.
When the other christian sects broke away from the catholics they kept this idea as a part of their belief system.
Love and blessings Don

no, jesus was a historical figure. i believe that he was deranged and thought that he was the son of some god that created everything, and developed a small cult of followers that developed over time into a mainstream religion.
he has no power (noone does) to take the evil out of the world.

Spirituality and faith in G-d can remove evil from YOUR HEART.. Evil will be eternally present on Earth as long as there are people who are not spiritually motivated and continue to put their own selfish needs above those of others..

It's kind of creepy, but it may work for you if you believe in it. Personally I would believe in myself first. I would check what's right or wrong. I do not need to check if someone else's blood would help me to decide if I'm doing something bad or good. I rather would visualize it then move on. Action Reaction!!!!!.
