Honestly would it matter. Granted he is hands down the worst GM in football but he has only been keeping them down the last 6 years. They have been among the worst franchises for 40 years. The problem goes a little higher with the Lions....the Ford family is wanting badly to go down in history as the worst professional sports franchise owners ever. And a hearty Congrats to them....they have set the bar for futility. Seeing him fired would bring brief satisfaction but who would they hire as the next GM? Wayne Fontes? He would be a good candidate...he was busted with drugs as the coach(and lead them to some pretty sorry records) so he would fit right in with what the Fords like. They have no sense of how to run a professional franchise and no desire to learn how. If they were to have success then they might have to shell out big contracts like the winning teams do, as long as fans fill the stadium they line thier pockets and have no incentive to put a good product out for their fans. Ford talked about loyalty in deciding to keep Millen....how much more of a slap in the face do Lions fans need! HEY FORD....how about showing some loyalty to the long suffering fans!!!!!!!

What the Lion fans should do instead of assinating him is to pick a game next season, set up a boycott, and tell people not to show up for it. Let the press know its a boycott of Millen and maybe it will soak in. Nothing hurts rich folks more than to deprive them of money. Im not a Lions fan, I like them alright, but I feel sorry for you guys. I have never seen a worse GM than Millen.

To be assassinated instead of murdered the person must be important.

I don't know how much it would cost to make Millen important.:)

I'd have to agree with the poster who stated that to be assassinated, you have to be important. But in answering your question, if you asked the right Lions fan, they'd probably pay you for the opportunity.

Cheers!

Just ask any sane Lions fan...I'm sure they'd be up for it...

I assume Frankie R. meant to say "fire" him...The Ford family DID hire him...They own the Lions...

I haven't got the slightest, but if it does ever happen the person would never be caught. There would be about two-million suspects...

I wish the Ford family would hire him. How long can he last with a losing team?
