Depending upon your budget and time constraints, there are many wonderful packages that you can purchase that you can see a variety of places for an affordable cost. Presently I know of a trip that allows you to see 8 countries in 16 days; which lincludes England, France and Italy, so that you can get a small taste of what each country has to offer. This is a great way to visit and see the world, in fact, I plan on taking that trip myself this August. But I think that your best bet would be to take a European Tour so that you can sample some of the best that the world has to offer. I hope that this has been helpful to you.

Southern Italy would be more romantic than any of the places that have been mentioned.
I did not care for the food in Hawaii or Greece and I hear that Rome is dirty.
Paris is always fun, but Sorrento is more romantic.

If your going to go somewhere outside the US then make sure you no the language they speak and the basic words (money, bathroom, such) and converison rate of money. If you stay in the US then Hawaii is a good place and depending on your age Las Vegas is nice to.

Apparently Croatia is really nice.
Cyprus is really nice as well.
