Depending where you live, your city may have a center or two specifically designed for handicapped children. These centers usually provide activities such as sports and crafts. There are two centers close to my house. One has a tea room and lets the disabled members run it. The other offers an abundance of sports, crafts, and baking programs. I have a sister who is autistic and she participates in these programs. It's a wonderful thing.

The company that I work for hires them to make assembly parts for the bigger parts that we make. They come in and work 4 hours a day.
They do an laundry service in our town where every Monday and Thursday the go to the Laundromat and people take their laundry into them and they do it for a small fee.
One boy works for the local grocery store as a carry out.
We have PAKS Developmental Services which sets a lot of these things up. They live in group homes with one caretaker per home.
They can do lots of things if people would give them a chance.

Well, there are adult day programs that help the individual to learn basic skills and activities of dailiy living like sewing, clerical work, and arts and crafts and also there are opportunitties to earn money. Even if they can only operate a switch for a device such as a hole punch or electric scissors. There are so many things that a person with disbilities can do to enhance their quality of living.

It depends on the area you are asking about, I would do an online search and see what is happening in your area. Like there are community centers that have things to do with disabled and retarded adults. Best wishes. =)

Ask at the socialworker in any hospital what is organised in the neighborhood or nearby
Ans what they do to get people out of their isolation.
Drops.
Here in Holland we pretty much arrange these things locally and funded by the tax payers.

Depending on where you live, most cities have disabled adult programs for socializing and sports. Contact your county's social services, ask your social worker, etc.

There's a fun game I like to play, and you sing a little song with it, so it's perfect for kids with disabilities.
