Let's just say that you wouldn't get paid for doing this, but some people decided to see if they could last a week without a cellphone(just to see if it wasn't a daily need.) Could you do it? Or do you really have to have one...

I could live without one. My cell gets on my nerves. I can't seem to have a minute of silence with that dang thing always ringing. But, I have children and I need to have a way for them to reach me in case of an emergency, but the urgent matter at hand is never more important then, "Mom, can I borrow $20.00 or Hey, Mom, Kayla won't leave me alone (sibling rivalry). Ugh, that phone drives me nuts some times.

You bet!

The cell phone is a convenience (just like having a car or a PC) - but it's not a daily need. Kinda like nice to have but I wouldn't say it's a "must have."

I've never had a cellphone so I think I could survive without one.

Yes, I could survive, but it would be inconvenient.
Cell phones are my main line of communication. Without them, I'd be forced to rely on slower or less reliable methods.

I definitely could do it, but I think ANYONE should be able to do it, 20 years ago, nobody would have dreamed about having a cell phone.

I don't have a land line. My cell phone is my only way of communication I've got. I literally do need it.
