I was going to vote libertarian in 2004, but then the guy said he had nothing against same sex "marriage".

I'm for liberty, I'm not for changing reality. If the libertarians let go of the lunatic fringe, they'll have more chance of winning an election. All parties have a lunatic fringe, and we're voting against the worst fringe instead of for anything.

And since when were libertarians against segregation? I mean, I guess they're against official apartheid, but they do believe in freedom of association, which allows companies and organizations (and especially individuals) to discriminate. Everyone has the right to be a jerk, the market, not the law, should punish the jerks.

Libertarians can never do well in the Political process. By nature, Libertarians hate intusive political TV ads to invade the private homelife of the public. You can't win a modern election with a grassroots movement in today's society.

Since when should you have the right to kill a child?
(I HATE ABORTION)... sorry.

We (the Conservatives) are NOT taking freedom away. But let me ask you a question. If I played Rush Limbaugh at the highest setting on my 100 speaker stereo system, 24/7, would you not complain?

Would you not pound on my door, demanding me to stop? If I persisted, would you not call the police?

Its my freedom to express myself, my freedom of speach. Is that not what the ACLU is all about?

Therefore, I submit to you, our freedom to "swing our arms" ends at our fellow citizen's nose.
