Has anyone else seen this movie? I went to the theater last night and saw this movie. I enjoyed it very much. The actors' and actresses' perfomrances were impeccable and it was just such a flawlessly done movie. It wasn't one of those movies where you go "wow! that was amazing!", but, moreover,"I really enjoyed this film. I appreciate everything about it." Movies like that only come by once in a great while.
What are your opinions on this movie?

I saw it yesterday and Loved it. I thought Helen Mirren was outstanding. I thought the part where she cried when the stag was killed was brilliant. I liked the Tony Blair actor. I loved how he was so enamored of the Queen and I thought they made Prince Philip looked like a jerk, but maybe he was. And I thought they were very kind to Charles, they made him look likable, which isn't an easy thing to do. I don't think it will win best picture Oscar, but Mirren will win for sure.

I agree with you. I sat through that movie and it felt like 30 minutes, it went by to fast.

Helen Mirren was outstanding as Queen Elizabeth 2, but I didn't like the actor who played Tony Blair cos Blair isn't THAT nice in reality. Overall, a competent movie but a little slow-moving at times.

The movie was boring, but i agree the acting was excellent but it's that type of movie you can only seen once.....
