Blizzards are kinder, you can go inside. With hurricanes the inside of a house becomes the outside and it can move you a mile or two and drop you.

Blizzards usually do less damage than hurricanes do so i would have to go with blizzards : )

i used to live somewhere with alot of huricanes and i would rather have them than blizzards.
