Worst: Gateway and eMachine.

Gateway was a good brand when it was "Gateway2000," but today they build disposable computers, as does eMachines. One little problem, and it's less expensive to toss the computer than to repair it.

Gateway's customer service really sucks these days, too. The company is NOTHING like it was ten years ago, when it was Gateway2000.

Best: probably Apple, which is what I'll buy the next time I need a computer.

I can only answer from personal experience. The worst computers that I have run into was anything that had Packard in the name. Then there were Dells. From what I have been told the computers sold at Wal-Mart are so affordable because they use inferior parts in their construction.

The best computer are normally the ones that are built especially for you without all of the bundled software that come already installed on them.

Personally. have someone build your computer. Pay a little extra and get a hell of a lot more.

There's are not best or worst brand. There are better than other but that depend mainly of what you need to do.

Dell is fine for my grandmother, but not for a professional gamer.

Buy the software, then buy the computer than can run it.

What exactly do you want to do with your computer ?

A "durability" test I saw had IBM/Lenovo *many* times over all competitors, to which I can attest. I have a "relatively old" (A41) Thinkpad, a real workhorse, still going strong through many bumps and bruises. I also have a year-old HP that is running quite well although this year it (1) lost a memory chip and I had to rebuild once and (2) overheated and I had to rebuild it again...judge for yourself

Dell sucks, i bought a clean one to replace my HP and it died interior the year. (less expensive aspects plus less expensive exertions equals less expensive pc) The HP that I replaced became six years previous and nevertheless works to right away time. (even nonetheless it basically has a pentium seventy-5 megahertz processer) it rather is valueless for present day video games, even nonetheless it nevertheless cruises the internet comfortably.....You get what you pay for, like each little thing else in existence....P.S. HP is the excellent hands down.....

The best PC's? The ones I build, but if you have to buy em, go ALIEN.

The worst? Hands down, e-Machines.
