Unlike the other jerkoffs, I'll actually answer these.

1. Really, only Cortes was a conquistador. Vespucci explored mostly the South American coast, de Leon was looking for the Fountain of Youth in Florida, and Balboa discovered the Pacific Ocean.
2. All are parts of geography.
3. Not sure what the hell Bukalaki is, but only Indonesia would be considered part of the East Indies.
4. Eric the Red is not a native American. He is a Viking credited with the discovery of Greenland.
5. Pilgrims landed at Plymouth in 1620.
6. Tobacco was the biggie, along with cotton.
7. Missouri was not part of the CSA. Even though it was a slave state, it remained part of the Union.
8. George Washington does not belong. The others are involved with the Civil War.
9. Who the hell knows?

1: Amerigo Vespucci
2:latitude
3: China, I think.
4: Eric the Red
5: 1620
6:Rice
7:Missouri
8: George Washington
9:I have no clue.

**EDIT**
number 2 is none of the above. I didn't read all of what you said, and therefore just figured that the one that seemed the most out place was the right answer. So I figured since latitude is a type of imaginary grid line that helps us pin-point certain geographical locations, as opposed to a specific coordinate and/or location, that it must have been the right answer.
I am also torn on #3 now, but I still think I'm pretty sure that China is not considered part of the East Indies.

Ya know, dear, it must take you MUCH longer to actually type out all your questions and post them here (where you odds of getting a correct answer are about 1 in 10) than to look them up in your college textbook...

Although I think higher schooling is more of an academic hurdle than anything else, you should at least learn how to manage your time as well as how to find facts.

what do these questions have to do with each other? They're skipping all over the place. I would answer some, but like other people said, you really should do your own homework and learn the answers so that you can do well on the test.

Hay Kelly, it's ok to ask for help in order to get pointed in the right direction, but you are not learning anything if you are asking others to do the work for you.
