For me, it was winning a painting competition at the age of four and getting a box of crayons as my prize (I later found out that I had only won the prize because I was the youngest entrant). I still remember sitting on the bus, on my mum's lap, and being so happy with my new crayons.
So that's my earliest memory. What is yours? Is it a happy memory for you? Do tell.

Aged 7 at school. I was busy focusing on my work and suddenly was grabbed from my desk by my primary school teacher only to get a big telling off and getting humiliated in front of the class.

Was accused of scribble on one boy's note book.... and the whole class laughed. The teacher got everyone to scribble in MY notebook as punishment.

After what felt like forever with a few tears... the teacher's helper stood up and said that she witnessed it and that I was a victim of a prank.

Apparently the whole class joined in and scribbled the boy's notebook including himself then pointed the finger at me! I guess I was too nice and quiet as a child so got picked on a lot.

Sorry it wasn't exactly a happy or fluffy memory. I can't remember anything good far back...

Don't get me wrong, I did have good days growing up.

Oh when I was about 10 years old... I won my first competition which granted me my first Garfielf plush toy which I adored. I was over the moon as I loved 'Garfield' (comic strip) and still do. :-)

True story, age 4 I wanted a pony my mum said no, my grandad went off to "see a man" and came back with a pony and full tack! , trust me there was a ruckus but grandad prevailed and a few spills, tumbles and unauthorized and unsupervisored rides but it was worth it
