Can you unlock a Nokia N80 on the 3 network as I heard you can't.

hiya, dont think you can unlock anything on the 3 network im afraid. i could be wrong but im 99.999% sure.

sorry, you can't unlock any 3 phone. It works at first but it will block the phone back up again and you probably won't be able to use it again. (even with a 3g sim).
the reason its not possible is because 3 = the 3rd generation. when you unlock the phone, the 3rd generation features are all still on the phone which are not compatible with a 2g sim card.

Its correct you cant. The only people who can unlock a 3 phone is 3 themselves. You could take it down your local mobile independent store but it wil cost you bout £5.00. But it will only be a partual unlock. This means as soon as you remove the sim that your phone was unlocked for, it will lock back up again.

I know you can unlock a phone onto any network from 3 but not sure if otherway round try ebay seller as they all advise network unlocking..

It won't be easy but you must venture to the layer of the sleeping dragon. (don't worry there isn't really a dragon there that's just the name) and wake him up and ask him to do it. It's the only way.
