some isp's purposely do this and also there is a limitation in winxp service pack 2 to 10 connections per whatever. basically if you are behind a router there is an article on limewire's website that tells you how to get that part of it to be faster but there is little you can do about the rest. pro is not worth it, ive tried.

Your only option is to upgrade your internet connection (your internet provider. Cable internet is best unless you have access to a direct connection to a T1 system. The Limewire connection has nothing to do with your computer

just subscribe for better internet provider in your area. getting pro is not worth it
