A free clinic is a medical facility, some are separate while others are physically attached to a hospital. Free clinics offer free proper health care to those who lack insurance or money to cover the cost of their treatment.
In many cases, those who don't qualify for free care, but still cannot afford to pay, are billed for their treatment but the debt is substantially lower than had the person received treatment elsewhere.
Along with typical free clinics, there are also free clinics that only treat certain people. For example, there are free clinics, free women's clinics, free children's clinics, etc. They all offer the same service and care that a free clinic does, but limits their type of patients.

It is just your local health department that gives free checkups to low income or charge a fee based on your last check stub.
they do physicals, flu shots, just like a doctor office but more
