I'd pick neither and try to get a new PG. They are both old players that aren't what they used to be. Francis can barely average 10 points while Marbury can't pass like he used to. Only bright thing marbury has done is make the $15 shoes, now thats really cool of him to do when you have every other basketball star making over $100 shoes. But if i HAD to pick one, it would defiantly be Marbury because he is still better than Francis... even though thye both suck! they are the main reason the Knicks don't win! if the knicks could get a solid passer and a solid defender at the point, then they probably will reach the .500 mark. Until then, they will stay under it as long as Marbury and Francis are on the team (or as long as they SUCK)

Marbury has helprd the Knicks more than Francis. francis is sadly on the decline. He is not making noise anymore. Francis was better off with the Rockets. Even though the Knicks are not winning much, they are still fighting. They have a talented team. They have the same problem with Boston. They are young teams. Not playoff caliber. In a few years, though, the team will start to shape up. If I were to keep a point guard, I'd rather keep Marbury. Francis is not the same as he was 3 years ago. Marbury, on the other hand, is still keeping the team afloat with his leadership.

We need to definitely keep Marbury. He really knows how to run things on the court, and he's now getting the other players involved, because he's really responding to Isiah Thomas. Last night, Marbury had another great performance, and Thomas has said that if wasn't for Marbury, the Knicks wouldn't be as cohesive as they are now. Francis was once great, but has been injury-ridden and not very productive. So, Marbury should definitely stay the Knicks point guard.

Yeah, a few years ago i also would have chosen Steve Francis but now i would choose Marbury because hes not being selfish and he is beginning to care about his actions and the community
($15 shoes when everyone else creates $150 shoes)

Marbury vs. Francis
Marbury is my pg francis backup pg/sg
Marbury is learning to pass this year and the team is doing well with him.
Francis is a good clutch free throw shooter so to have him and Jamal in would be hard to stop them down the stretch.

Are you joking? Francis might as well not be on the team. He's lost it--definately fallen off. If both were in their prime I still would take Marbury.

A few years ago I would have wanted Francis, but now Francis isn't Stevie Franchise anymore. Marbury is really showing that he isn't as selfish a player as a few years ago.

Marbury. Francis has chronic knee problems. He'll never be a top line player again.
